I'm thrilled to have gotten my hands on a copy of Robin Lane Fox's newest work, "The Classical World: An Epic History From Homer to Hadrian." Of course, after his Alexander, I'll read anything Fox writes, but in this he tackles the whole history of Greek, Hellenistic, and Roman culture at its underpinnings. The reviews have been universally favorable, and I"ll add my own when I've finished it!
