They had just begun to make our fast; Two princes, a princess, and a crooked merchant's daughter. A strange company they must have been though all of them were alike in age, the stations in life that separated them from each other seemed vast to Megara though Darius would continue to contradict her education and claim he would have her company despite such differences.
Lady Nebet soon joined them as they recovered from the tremors of the earth, all still recovering from a night of too much wine as well. Megara whispers the answers to Luna's questions when Darius is caught up in all the excitement of new arrivals to the chamber, "This is Prince Kamiros of Rhodes, and I am the widow of LuciusSesto Manlius, Megara."
It is then that the Lady Lousia makes her announcement declairing the company that the soldier's widow keeps even higher from her poor station. The others begin congratulations and speculations but she is frozen watching all that happens and thinking. When the Young King returns to her side, she lays her hand in his and gives it a soft squeeze. The mother and her children seem to be troubled.
"My King, you are weak from lack of food... we should continue with our morning... before you must have your first councils...", she whispered at the words that Minos might start to pour inot his ears as she glanced up to him with her grey eyes, and then back towards the the other side of the table, "I would think My Queen and the good Prince might need strength as well. The day may come to be very long."
"Will you join us for breakfast, my Lord?", She nearly whispered towards Minos knowing she was getting up to her ears in Royals. The courts would start after the meal, that was how it seemed to be in her husbands house... and why should a King be much different than a soldier when it comes to food?
