and glided over to where Everyman was standing near the firepace.
"Everyman," she whispered, so as not to embarrass him more, "perhaps it would be best if you ate the food from the bowls that have been provided for us, instead of eating what is being given to the dogs."
"But," he said loudly, making the shimmery blonde wince, "they were chicken boneth. Dogth will choke on chicken boneth."
"Well," Silki said softly, still trying to explain, "you should have told us. We don't want to hurt the dogs. But you made some of the other people feel bad. They might think you are crude and gross, and I saw one woman has run away because of your fight with the dogs."
Everyman seemed somewhat distressed at this statement, not that Silki could blame him, and turned to the room. "Everyman was just trying to save the life of the dogs. He did not want them to choke on the chicken boneth...bones. I told him that we would not throw anymore bones to the dogs. Meat is alright, just not the bones."
Silki ignored the pained looks on some faces, knowing that they wanted her to explain why Everyman ate the meat on the bones that were on the floor.
The diaphanous one decided to ignore them, because truthfully, she couldn't explain that either. After all, who could explain Everyman?
