As far as the image library goes, I would suggest organizing it by subject. The images in the library would reflect the things that one would see in the Arena. These would be the things that a Gladiator would interact with throughout his or her life.

It might be helpful to think of these images as 'Baseball cards', with the Type of image (e.g. 'Gladiator-Retarius', 'Beast-Bear')written across the bottom of the image. In this way, the images could be posted on someone's homesite in the manner of the 'Twelve Caesars' game.

Gladiators: There should be an image of the different types of Gladiators that would be in the Arena. Retarius, Secutors, Mermillions, Dimacchia, Beastarii, and so forth. Gladiators also fought singly, and in pairs.

Beasts: Lions, Tigers, Elephants, Bulls, Bears and any of the other animals that the Gladiators were expected to fight.

Armour and Weapons: Manacia, Shields, swords, tridents, nets, puglios (knives), Galerus, and any of the other armour and weapons that the Gladiators were expected to use. If possible, these should be grouped by Gladiator type (Galerus, trident, puglio, net all belong to the Retarius for example).

Charioteers: Although technically separate from Gladiators, the Chariot races were also part of the entertainment of Ancient Rome. There were four different teams, the Reds, the Blues, the Greens, and the Whites. Stables and horses were also part of the lives of the Charioteers.

Trainers: The Gladiator Trainers of the Ludi were usually ex-Gladiators that had short staffs to assist them in their duties.

Sponsors: The Lords and Ladies of Rome, who owned Gladiators and Gladiator schools, and who hired the Gladiators to perform for the honour of their Ancestors at the games. Since it was expensive to either own or hire Gladiators, these people were usually of the wealthy Patrician class.

Trophies: These are the things that the Gladiators would win. A purse (leather sack with money amount), a plaque, a golden wreath, or a 'Rod of Liberty' which bestowed the Gladiator with his or her freedom.

Victory/ Defeat cards: These would be either an image of a Gladiator/ Charioteer with the words 'Victory' or 'Defeat' written across the bottom, or perhaps an image of Apollo for Victory(the God of healing), or Pluto for defeat(the God of Death).

In this way, the library could make sesterciis by selling images of Gladiators to sponsors. The sponsors could post the image of the Gladiator on their home page, as well as the date of the Gladitorial match. The Gladitorial match could take place in 'real time' in the chatroom, or it could be prearranged with pre-written scripts. After the match, trophies, purses, winnings, or 'defeat'markers could be bestowed upon the appropriate persons.
