    LOL - I remember reading the facts about that particular treasure hunt (is it in Appian?) and wondering what ever happened to all those tons of plunder. As I recall, there were hints that it was simply pinched by the Roman involved (a Caepio, wasn't it?) and later went to make his family wealthy and powerful - NOT to mention an adopted son of the family, a certain Brutus who was pals with Caesar.

    I think that could be a wonderful AND very interesting and educational "treasure hunt." Let me know if I can help!
