Our local library has received a new series of new books which are affordable reprints by Evergreen (a subdivision of Taschen, if I'm not mistaking) of books published previously on various subjects, but those available here are mostly on religious subjects. The first I bought is Caroline Humphrey and Piers Vitebsky's "Sacred Architecture", first published in 1997.
I think this is a particularly interesting read from the perspective of this group, since it covers many cultures/religions and their approach of sacred architecture; I'll try to make short posts about the content of the book as I make my way through it.
