Never bet on a fish that's racing on land.
Another event I enjoyed elsewhere was a challenging climb to the top of a pyramid. Does anyone remember it? Some competitors
cheated (a flying carpet comes to mind) but it only added to the fun.
Maybe something additional could be added, when we get to the top of said pyramid. Have we tried-- bungee jumping? Speaking of bungee--
Another idea- Didn't one American tribe swing around upside down, hanging by their feet, dangling on ropes, that were attached to posts on a windmill type pole? Are you familiar with that? I don't mean the self-mutilating "Man From Horse" scenario-- This is where they climb the main pole, go out to one of the posts, tie-off at the feet, jump and then hang, while the whole thing spins like a helicoptor. About seven of them do this at one time. It's an endurance event
- whoever can remain swinging around and around, upside down, some thirty feet in the air like that-- the longest. I don't remember which tribe did this. It might be in the Guiness Book of World Records.
Like Ix, I'm in. Whatever the challenge- I'm there.
