something from Björk. I know, she capable of producing very urban sounds, but some of her music, especially "Frosti" - which has no vocals on it - and "Aurora" from her 2001 album Vespertine have this wonderful quality that makes them sound magic, at least to me. Or maybe those have too much of a winter-y quality to them, in which case I'd recommend either "Song to the Siren" in the version sung by Elizabeth Fraser on the This Mortal Coil adaptation of the Tim Buckley song (doesn't she have the voice of an angel anyway?) or, if you're more encline to something more classical, why not a piece from Grieg's "Peer Gynt": here I'd be hard-pressed to choose one, they all talk of a magical world to me!
I have all these on cd, so please let me know if I should upload anything for people to sample those tunes if you're ever interested *s*
Edit: now that I'm thinking about it, there may be a copyright issue, although the music would be up for only a month or so. Should we limit ourselves to either midi files or our own creations, just to be sure? What do you think?
