the writings of Confucius, but I'd like to get to them one of these days. Is there anyone still around who'd like to discuss this book?

I have read that Confucianism is a Western term not used in Chinese. It is supposed to be a world view, a social ethic, a political ideology, a scholarly tradition and a way of life. It is sometimes seen as a religion, other times as a philosophy. It is not an organized religion though its teachings have had a profound influence on other eastern religions.
