This covers all periods of history and pre-history of the Islay group of islands, and gives a contemporary status of them, too. The first half of the book walks the reader through descriptions of each island, and takes one on a tour of time. The second half provides the traveller with a list of "must see" sites, many of which are prehistoric (hence my putting this book in this topic).

Very informative, well written, and looks to be an asset in my research on islands of Scotland.
