    or; the ultimate fugue

    when repetitive actions
    and predictable reactions
    reach a crescendo

    when everything has been said
    over and over again
    and proverbs describe the universe

    it may seem that
    the sirens' songs from the deep
    intone the ultimate
    restful resolution.
