Schalke and Cottbus are -as far as I know- not named after the town they play in....

If you have Dortmund, Freiburgh, Koln, Bayern Munchen, Munchen Gladbach, Rostock et all...they're all named after the town they play in.

Hertha isn't a leader either....

So I haven't got the slightest idea... Something to do with Bayer?
