in honor of Grey Owl...and a turning that came and went upon the golden wheel...

"There is another Nagual law which states that the world will not go through changes it doesn't have to. Change is only possible because nothing changes. Patterns never change because the ray that is responsible for broken symmetry, hence unusual growth, is fixed in relationship to the last point of change. At each fracture, the cycle not only replicates in reverse from the point it was stopped at, but it also divides and those divisions seek their limits of expression within the boundary of the new asymmetrical space. In short, all things are predictable and place frames for change can be constructed."

"To see and understand beyond illusion is one thing. Living with it is altogether something else."

"For all that we are and all we believe and all we do, the simple secret of all creation is someone to talk to."

"Corresponding pieces of the puzzle can't change their shape except to break."

"Infinite potential exists only in a pure state and cannot be altered."

"Two people only space out and forget its new every time if it wasn't that new to begin with. Not an opinion, just astromechanics." (regarding sex *s*)

"Attention divided is half in each direction."

    "Nothing exists without purpose."

"Actually I went through years of rigorous discipline to tame my ego. Now its a little chihuahua that says, yo quiero Taco Bell."

"Jobs, routines, random events, all feed off of us. We can't perceive this, because we're perceiving this. Then we go home and pick up the same threads, looking for a point of close in overlaying cycles. The daily world of work and home become little more than pit stops, a hill to be climbed to get to somewhere else."

"When I pressure the world to change, for all I know one day the bottom will drop out."

"You'd better not be a peyote hallucination or I'm going to be more than a little pissed."

"One of the definitions of Nagual, is, it vanishes and reappears."

"We all carry a piece of star around inside our body which is us and it yearns to be free and soar above the clouds, where it dissipates and dies merging once again with everything and becoming nothing."

"Transit = repetition, Station = rotation."

"You have to remember that replication is the first urge of the universe. Once anything is started it develops a life of it's own. It's own momentum and inertia. Anything that moves grows in mass, in proportion to its position squared by its origin.

Hence what started as: "I see virtue in these things, and not these," turns into "I see virtue in everything."

The space has collapsed and there is no more motion except that of circling within an inert system.

"I'm right and you are wrong" bifurcates into "everybody is right and everybody is wrong."

A Nagual turns his back on all the bifurcating bulls*** and centers within the laws established by the tradition.

Nagualismo isn't the only system of knowledge. It's just the only one left that still works, because it embraces fluid systems. Everything else is played, even the talking mushrooms stopped making sense when they were revealed to the world.

Making yourself available is one (always two poles). The field of potential, or road of accessibility is the other half. Every formula has the same components. Metaphor and analogy are our tools for reflection."
