I am a senior in high school and I found a short book on the history of a few attempts to unify greece. The book is called Philip II and Alexander the Great Unify Greece in World History by Don Nardo. This book is pretty informative for such a small text and a good idea for someone just wanting to know the basics about Alexander...I think you should add this to your bibliography.

I suggest that if you have some free time and just want to read up on some short history, this is the book for you...
