By now everyone must know that I believe that Domosthenes was involved with it. His sudden precognition on the day of Philip's death seems to me a dead give away. I have come recently to suspect that this piece of political theatre was not neccessarily meant to be believed. His very public display, if not believed, tacitly associated him with the plot and put him in the position of savior of Athens in the eyes of his constituents without damning himself. The ploy is doubly devious and quite worthy of Demosthenes.
