I went to the local art & history museum the other day, and above our heads was this sky a dreamy shade of blue, unmarred by clouds. As I approached the museum by the right, on the other side of the road, I saw that angel, perched on top of the museum's entrance, standing against what seemed an infinite ocean, and had this urge to take that picture.
I have played a lot with the manual settings of my little Fuji digital camera (thanks to Kendal who spent a good couple hours trying to help me figure it all - a little like spelling a word to someone who doesn't know the alphabet, LOL) before deciding on exposure compensation at -1.2 since the sky and the exposed parts of the statue were too bright and "inandecent light" (sic!) for the white balance. Somehow, it turned out the best that way *g* I only used Photoshop to resize (well, the original was around 2400x1900, LOL) and crop a little sky on the right and at the bottom, but that's it *s*
