...Now, (I guess this is the place to ask) can anyone dispel my ignorance and tell me what country's acronym is "ZAF"?

My desk calendar is one of those that shows religious and national holidays etc. for every day of the year, for several countries - shown in acronym form such as JPN, AUS, NZL, ITA next to their particular holiday.

ZAF had its "Freedom Day" on April 27 and May 1st was its "Workers' Day". Where on the map??
