We're going this time to learn a few letters that look surprisingly like some we use ourselves, but, unlike in lesson one, are pronounced differently. No worries though, all the sounds exist in English (or almost - see "r") so you shouldn't be too lost *g*

Now you know already 5 more characters, which brings our total to 11 - meaning we've been already almost a third of the way! But before introducing you to new ones, I'll probably post a reading exercise and will try to record a few examples to explain better about the softening of consonants before "e", among others (see Cyrillic alphabet, lesson 1). Just keep in mind I'm only studying Russian, but I should be able to make individual words sound right. However, if anyone of you knows a fluent Russian and can get them to record some words sentences for us, or if anyone here is fluent.....it would be all the better!
That's it for now! Stay tuned for more coming up soon ^-^
