I've mentioned the king and queen and while a portion of the roleplay will indeed be taking place at the royal court, we are also going to include the seedier side of the society - the dark taverns, the alleyways, the thieves, pickpockets, prostitutes, etc. The only requirement is that there are NO good guys. Everyone has some kind of agenda. I have posted a wee bit of a bio on the front of my home to give an idea - I'm going to be the Royal Perfumer - which for the most part was a polite name for someone that could create concoctions that could oftentimes be lethal. Sev has also posted part of his bio on his home so you can see he's somewhat of a royal assassin. Athenais is going to be the current Maitresse en titre - however, that doesn't necessarily mean she's going to keep the position long. That position was precarious to say the least and should provide for much scheming, backstabbing and whatnot.

While Sev and I are going to have places at court, our positions are such that our characters will be free to roam into the darker side of the society and please feel free to create a character like that - it's kinda the best of both worlds. LOL Or if you'd prefer, you can be a noble that doesn't mix or one of those dark characters. The roleplay won't be hinged upon the activity of court, we'd really like to see members create their own subplots that will enrich the entire roleplay. *g* Well, that's it for now - suggestions, comments, etc. are welcome and if you'd like to bounce around character ideas feel free to as well. *g*

Oh! One last thing - the king and queen are going to be NPC. If someone would like to be part of the royal family then we'll take that on a case by case basis, but for the most part there shouldn't be any problems with that.
