    Hmm...thanks for the advice, Pisces.

    I decided to plant both (grumble) hostas and I'll fern-nap some bracken from the woods. A combination of things might be a good idea, anyway. Nice combinations of texture and such.

    Deer aren't really an issue here. They stay out of the yard.In Vermont they know they are great big bags of venison!
