My cat, Titania, has just been diagnosed with lymphoma. She spent last night at the vets, and they relieved some of the pressure around her lungs. They suggested chemo, but since her quality of life would be limited, and since she doesn't understand what is going on, or what the benefits would be, I've declined the chemo. I would not do that to her.
I brought her home just now. They gave me some prednisone which may help her for a while, but I may just bring her back in tomorrow, because she really isn't herself. I don't want her to suffer and not comprehend. I think she may be telling me she's ready to move on.
I put her up in the window so she can go look outside if she wants. She's slow, like yesterday when I took her in.
