To the Court Praetor:
I hereby pay the amount owed to Bodgit and Scarper in the sum of 15000D. As the going rates this month are at 26%, I shall add to this sum the amount of 3900D. Therefore they will receive a total of 18900D from me in order to settle up for work done.
In giving them this money they have my apologies for its lateness and I hope that they will drop their suit as a result.
