I am rather concerned about the mysterious visitor mentioned as we arrived back at the villa. Doing as the lady has bid me, I go in search of Dia. I find her in the kitchen giving directions for the evening meal.

"Dia," I speak her name.

"Achillas! Thank goodness you have returned!" she exclaims as she rushes into my arms, clinging to me like a frightened, young girl.

"Dia, are you okay?" I ask, not bothering to extricate her from my person. "Our lady wishes to speak with you. I understand there was a visitor while we were away."

"Yes, and I need to speak to the matrona immediately!"

"She said for you to meet her in the courtyard."

She pulls out of my arms and I follow her towards the meeting destination. I am concerned about Dia's reaction and I want to know what has happened.
