...its hard for me to imagine not writing as well.

However, I've learned that "writing," for me takes on many forms now.

For example, my job now keeps me busily writing business-type articles. I've found that my creativity pops up using other paths--painting, photography, whatever. My creative writing now tends to take shape in my head until I'm ready to put them to paper. All those other creative paths seem to help it germinate, so to speak.

The problem I'm having now is finding the time to polish anything into a finished product. I've got several "gems in the rough," but there always seems to be something more pressing than editing and rewriting.
