When I was living overseas in Borneo and Singapore, we had wonderful little creatures called LEECHES, which latched onto you and did everything in their power to remove your blood. They had to be burned off - Oh how fun!!! . . .

Fortunately, we did not have too much personal experience with them being attached to our bodies, but it did happen occasionally . . .

Very memorable, I must say . . .

And THEY were real, too!!! . . .
