That's quite a tour de force, Heraklia
and should become the definitive Alexander site on the web. I have seen
a lot of them and there is nothing with which to compare to yours. You
certainly deserve the thanks of all Alexander students and you have mine.
It has been such a pleasure to see how you have mastered the subject
in little over a year. It's a lot more than just prodigious reading; it's
intelligent comprehension as well. You approached Alexander without preconceived
bias and achieved an understanding of his history free of the inappropriate
contemporary attitudes which flaw the work of so many famous scholars.
I shall most certainly put a prominent link to your site on The Alexander
The Great Group page. It deserves to be singled out from the forest of
trivial sites on the web. I have no doubt that it shall also become a
suggested learning resource in many universities in the English speaking
world. One needs little more than this site and its links and bibliography
to become as knowledgeable about Alexander The Great as you have become.
Many thanks for your heroic effort and most of all for your overwhelming
contribution to our group. You came to learn from us and we have all
learned from you. The student becomes the teacher.
