Okay, so I know I've already posted partly about the Faire and our contribution, but this will be a bit more detailed. At this point I'm thinking we might want to consider that the Pokatok game might not be ready for the Thousand Year Faire and so an alternative came to me last night. In a vision. With a bunch of quetzals dancing about. Doing a Mesoamerican version of Cats funnily enough. (and people wonder why I can't sleep) Anyway, I was considering the timeline that Marduk had posted up and my first thought was that maybe, as a group, we could perhaps author a 'hood - Copan to be exact.
I brought it up with Mangas and right now they're slowing down on new additions to the 'hoods until they can see interest enough to add more - which makes perfect sense. So that made me think a little more and I was wondering, instead of Copan, what about Kalak'mul as a 'hood? This would also fit nicely in with the Faire time range, but is there interest? Would anyone be interested in seeing a 'hood for Kalak'mul? And we could, if there would be enough interest, make it a group effort with the city-building credit going to the group. I've gotten ahead of myself and written up some text, but there's still some parts that would need to be completed. So - head count, how many would be interested? *g*
