Ulvhedin has been abroad, and he brings with him a great bowl of grape wine to the tavern.
"I hope you'll have some grape wine," he says.

Ulvhedin sings:

Druevin og mjød i bolle
Gjev fryd og gaman
I hugleik og skalle!
Så skål alle saman!

Grape wine and mead in bowls
Gives joy and happiness
In our minds and souls!
