It has been a long walk through the mountainous terrain and passes, plodding steadily along like my forbearers, without complaint. It is cold and windy, no colder than usual, but with the wind it bites and chills my eyes, which peer out of my warm hood.
I arrive at a small cantina, which seems quiet, but someone has shovelled the snow from its doorway. I knock, but gain no reply.
The door opens with ease, however, and I stroll in, noting the warm banked fire, and chairs. A diminuitive woman appears, and takes my order - hot tea would be a blessing on a day such as this!
I sit down, relax. I am in no hurry.
