Women were not regarded as equals....they were less than slaves. In some instances women were lower than the animals. Their minds were smaller. Learning decreased a woman's ability to bear children...the only real use for a woman.

I think this book should be read by every woman. It might make us more grateful for the privaledges we take for granted.
