Based on the posts here at the Crossroads I have put together a Help Guide for Ancient Worlds. It represents the FAQ guide to which this board is dedicated. It is in the form of a free-standing website since this was the only way I could find of putting the material together in an accessible and sensible way.

It is in the form of a list of topics. Each of these is on a separate web page with some text describing the topic and then some specific FAQs where these are helpful. The material is drawn in part from the posts here at Crossroads. I am grateful to all the contributions made so far making this a shared project.

I would like to invite further input from members of Crossroads in expanding the list of topics and providing more details for some of the existing ones. If you would like to suggest a new topic entry or add to an existing one please post your suggestion in this thread. This is to let everyone know who is working on what and to avoid unnecessary duplication. When you have completed your text (and any images) for the topic you are writing on please post it on one of the specific FAQ threads under the appropriate heading. I will then be able to pick up the text, edit is as necessary and add it onto the Ancient Worlds Help Guide. In offering your material you will be agreeing to its use.

The Help Guide is meant to be a relatively quick and simple way of providing basic information about the site to new members. It is still the intention to create the AW Handbook.
