Xen Daria was anxiously awaiting her final test. Her master had told her it would be in a few days. Xen was working constantly at her training. She would meditate for long hours each day. She worked on her saber skills, force techniques, and clairvoyance. She was truly becoming one with the force.

Two nights before she was to take her test, she was awoken suddenly in her sleep. Her arms and legs had been chained together. She opened her eyes, but the room was totally black. She closed her eyes and began to reach out with the force. She could sense the outline of the room as well as a body, sitting in a chair at the far side. She focused as hard as she could until she could make out every detail of the room.

Her lightsaber was sitting on a table at the opposite side. As she reached out with her mind, she began to make it move. Within seconds, it was flying across the room into her locked up fingers. She clicked it on and immediately freed herself. She could senesce the person at the far side of the room stand and begin to move. She reached out her hand in their direction and they were thrown 5 feet across the room.

She drew up quickly upon them with her blade so as to see their face in its glow. It was a man. She asked him who had sent him, but he did not reply. Again, remembering her training, she reached out with her mind. She waved a hand in front of his face, telling him to tell her who he had been sent by. As though if he had been put into a trance, he said that it had been her master that had sent him.

Xen straightened up at the sound of this. She strode quickly towards the door, opening it when she arrived. Her master was standing there with a look of great appreciation on his face. She had done it. She was now a Jedi.
