I've been saying that a lot lately but I will jump in with a few thoughts, specialy on "Darkness".
But just a quick word on the pirate thread first.
I do admit that I did use to like to read the pirate stories very much. Mostly because we did have some great writers there and I was very sad to see them leave or stop writing, so Xena please don't think that no one actually read your stories.
I just happen to be crap at giving any aknowledgement, even when it really is decerved.
I was actually thinking about writing as a pirate.
I do warn you people, this would be my first try so I hope that you can be patient with me and not kill me off emmediatelly *l* but I would be happy to give it a try and do my best to get the threads going again.
Now, as for the darkness thread.
I do agree with all changes that Lyk wants to make, but would also like to add that I would (if you all agree) also delete the Monastery.
The reason why is because it is no more then another version of Juliettes thread and not really a story line that was ever really a part of Darkness.
Do correct me if you think I am wrong but I just never felt that it was really in theme with the rest of the boards.
I know that many will no tell me that I want to delete all the stories made there, I do NOT mean that, I would however like to see them included in the other threads.
They have always seemed a bit closed off from the rest of the stories. Which is proabbly because the theme there is too strikt, at least for my taste.
What I would like to keep and thought was good about the writing in this group is that we never had a time or place that we had to relate too, this allowed for a lot of freedom in the writing and was one of the best things here.
Anyways, these are my "two cents" on this matter, as they say.
So in short I would also delete the Monastery and include any stories from it (if the writer wants to join in) to the other threads of "Darkness", that would help us to keep the size of it to a minimum.
