"No!" I hollar, grabbing the stake. I lunge forward to the creature on top of Sabrina, sriving the stake into his back, but I miss the heart, landing someplace where the kidney would be.

"You dare stake me!" the (*gulp* rather large) creature yelled, jumping to his feet. I stared at it, trying to hide my fear. I realized then that I was still holding the vial of holy water. I threw it with all my might and it crashed against the monster, the blessed juices sizzling loudly against it's chest.

The creature looked down, smirking.

"It will take more than that for a vamp my size!" he hollared. I gulped. I saw Sabrina out of the corner of my eye standing behind the creature as though ready for a fight- why wasn't she running?!?

"Stand down!" I hollared, fists clenched. "I will not warn you again!" But my words meant nothing as the vampire's arm came down upon my head, striking me to the ground.

"Run!" I hollar to Sabrina, worried that I could soon be losing consciousnes...
