Good point, my friend, but again I think "ethno- and andro- centric bias" may still be present here. Sex and reproductivity were not their only cards...and again, let us all realize that in many ancient and medieval socities outside of the zone of the Med Sea. or the "Ancient Known World" - several Patriarchal societies flourished. And this is not even calling into focus more modern day contemporary leaders such as The Virgin Queen - Elizabeth or Catherine the Great of Russia, who I would like to think used their brains (cunning, wit, and skill) a whole lot more than their bottoms (sex, reproductivity, and big bottoms)...
