The Indo-Aryans and the Semetics are said to be the founders of almost every religion. Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and Buddhism are the main Indo-Aryan branch while on the Semetic branch there is Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Iran is unique in the world as its culture today is Aryan-Semetic. No wonder numerous kings of Persia refered to it as the centre of the Universe!

"In Iran Islam is a veil. Under the veil it is Zoroastrian" P.K.

Zoroaster is the first ever prophet to teach of the Oneness of God, of the Messiah and the Apocalypse. In this respect his ideas have influenced Judaism, Christianity and Islam. But Zoroaster is the only prophet who best explains the problem of Evil. In Christianity God cannot abolish Evil and in Islam he will not. In Zoroastrianism, God, or Ahura Mazda, creates the world in an act of self-defence against the aggressor, Angra Mainu, or the Devil. That is to say the purpose of life is to battle, like in a game of chess.

The concept of the Messiah is central to Iranian thinking; Zoroaster, Mani, Mazdak, Hassan i-Sabbah, the Bab, Bahullah are amongst those of Iran who claimed to be Messiahs. Even today the Islamic government of Iran has stated that its prime purpose is to prepare the country for the arrival of the messiah; the Lord of Time.
