While looking around for after-Christmas bargains (specifically Holiday cards for next year) on the Metropolitan Museum's website this evening, I ran across this page of very expensive reproductions of Byzantine jewelry. It's unlikely you'll find these in your price range, but you may enjoy looking at what I assume are extremely accurate reproductions of actual Byzantine pieces.
