In regards to the Rath, that you so kindly pointed to for RP , Andrasta or was it Ceares?. Anyway, it appears at present to be set up along the same lines as the original Tara was in early 98 with it being an all inclusive village setting with the road to and the market area, druidic type grove, pub etc. In such an environment, I think it would be most difficult for
parties from different eras to coexist unless eveyone is operating in the same era. I think it would be most difficult for people from, say, Roman or Post Roman Britain, Irish Celts from the era of Padraic, or Gauls from the era of Caeser to work authentically within the framework that exists there presently. In short all Celts are not alike and I think the Rath falls short at this juncture. Even within the same time frame and geographic areas there were major differences in the culture of various Celtic tribes/groups. For example the Aedui of south eastern Gaul were quite Romanised and Helenised in many ways having been trading partners with both The Romans and the Greeks in Massalia whereas its not really even sure by some scholars if the Nervii were truly a Celtic people or Germanic or a combination thereof being a relatively "barbaric" non assimiliated people from the area near Holland, north of the Muese , who fought in a more Germaic fashion .
Anyway as the rath is set up such divergent tribes as the Aedui and the Nervii would have problems creating a realistic "city", never mind the problems that would exist between tribes and individuals from far more divergent timeframes and geographic locations as stated above..
Therefore,as nice as the Rath is, I think far more groups and threads might be necessary to truly accomodate the diversity that Celtia represents.
Unless you want to return to the original Tara prior to late 1999 when the powers that be tried to keep it as a semi-historical, semi-fantasy all inclusive kingdom where the Fae
sometimes seemed to have a a far greater presence than
mere mortal Celts. WE even had a ruler or chief druidess or something who was part Sidh!!!!if you can beleave that, in a supposed historic city or section of the old site!
Now I have no objectin to this kind of stuff, to each his/her own but until the creation of family boards Tara was a struggle between various factions at each other throat.
What you need here is a very diverse collection of threads, groups and the overall freedom to express yourself ( within the limitsof the C 0f C of course) and your interests without being pidgeon holed into the singleminded vision of what Celtia should be from whomever is in power.
What made the original Tara succeed was not its original form but the people who took it on themselves to explore new avenues via the open boards and later the family boards which
were by far the most active of all and covered just about any topic you could think of directly and even indirectly related to the Celts.
Frankly I think let people have a go of starting threads for whater is within the stated timeframe of this place and if they fail go get a reasonable response then delete them, One never knows what might click and take off. Certainly not endless discussions aimed at a consensus that may never be achieved!
And Ceares, just because they changed the name from Tara to Celtia doesn't mean all that much. Tara was quite diverse toward the end with Medieval threads, your Welsh group, Roman British ones, Irish dark age , fantasy ones etc. You can call this place Hoboken N.J. or the "Land of Nod" if you like but its the content and structure that counts in the end.
I'd rather be in a free Hoboken, Nod or Tara than a restrictive
Celtia in which Celtic diversity is applauded in theory but
    not practice.
