Memnoch had just finished his bathing and was getting dressed. The room wasn't crowded but there were small groups of men here and there engaged in conversation. He hadn't been paying attention to anything in particular but then he heard something that did get his attention. He heard the name Sextus Manlius being mentioned. He slowly moved in a little closer to the three men who were having the conversation. He learned that Sextus had reopened Green Acres. He knew that Sextus couldn't stay away from the villa forever but he hadn't expected him to return so soon. Memnoch quickly finished dressing and left the bath. He hadn't been this excited in quite a while. So Sextus was back at Green Acres? Things were looking up. Memnoch had been running low on cash and this news gave him the incentive that he needed to reverse that situation. Sextus had always been very generous to him and not just when it came to money. And now that both Arrius and Philandros were out of the picture he figured that his chances of success were greatly improved. It was going to be a very good day!
