On my way back from the washroom to the kitchen, I pass the foyer just in time to hear a loud knock at the door. With everyone else in the parlor, laughing away, I wipe my hands on my apron as I turn towards the door to answer it myself. I unlatch the knob, swing open the large oak door and look up- way up.
"Can I help you, sir?" I ask with large nervous eyes and a timid voice. They fall silent in the parlor, awiating to hear whom is at the front door in this cold, winter night...
