Although some people claim the Ark is in Ethiopia, I've heard several highly respected archaeologists theorize that it's actually under the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. I've read accounts that make both theories seem plausible, yet personally I lean more toward it being in Jerusalem.

Would anyone like to share their opinions?
