Hidden among the rocks, just outside the caves where Hrothgar's court took refuge, I look at the palace of Heorot in the distance. The unholy monster took his residence there... the very thought disgusts me! It falls upon me to free the kingdom from this scourge. I will wait for the night, and then act. And I will act alone... for who else is ready to fight for Heorot and King Hrothgar?
