Tonight is the big party. I have been noth looking forward to it, as well as dreading it. I usually love parties: dressing up is one of the luxuries of being the mistress of a man like Felix Godwinson.
But then one of the drawbacks is watching the other guests eyes pick him out and scan him up and down, the women with lust in their eyes and the men with envy.

I shall keep myself busy in getting dressed and coiffed. I must be as beautiful as I can be - so I can keep Felix's eyes on ME.
