Salve amici, and bear with me, please, as I am simply breathless after watching this incredible episode IV. Oh my, oh my, oh my!

It's simply a masterpiece. Every frame of this film is in its right place. Not one of them wasted. Had they spent the whole 100 million dollars only to give this episode, I'd say the money was well spent.

Starting with Lindsay Duncan, she was absolutely gorgeous. Her Servillia was so REAL! And so incredibly serene! I mean, her sophistication almost jumped out in front of everyone. And her house? Calpurnia and Heraklia are so right when they say they'd like to have a Roman house! Oh I'd LOVE to have a room like that!

But everybody, absolutely everybody had a wonderful scene in episode 4: Caesar's epileptic stroke scene was superb; and Octavius there, what a great idea! And the party at Atia's house...! Showed everything that was to be seen in such occasions. And that includes all the preparations: The women getting their makeup done... and the wigs! Fantastic! I just loved the wigs!

The story with Pullo and Vorenus, everything totally plausible, IMHO. Mark Antony, Pompey, the Senators... you name it. Everybody was at their best, with excellent lines, and impeccable plotting overall. It is amazing how much they could accomplish in one single hour!

Amici, if this continues like this, I will run out of praising adjectives. And will keep on moving up these "old" episode topics every Sunday, after the show! *lol*
