Once the scribes had returned a second time with news from the Tavern and its owner Bagoas spent no time in delaying the course of events. Rooms were already prepared and waiting for their occupants, so Bagoas gave the scribes permission to move from the royal barge to the Tavern.

Bagoas then sent for the head of the Kings Medjai and instructed him to move the Hareem underguard. This was alittle embarassing for Bagoas as this was suppose to be done with little attention. However, this was not possible since the arrival of the ship into the Harbour of Gebtu. But without delay the entourage moved as quickly as possible from the ship, through the street to the Tavern.
