    Seeking More Information Concerning Yahweh and His Consort

    I too, through independent research, came across Astarte mentioned as Yahweh's Consort. I find this very intriguing because it hints that the monotheistic god at one time had a pagan past. I am finding it impossible to locate information about such a possible past. If anyone can shed further light on this that wold be great!
    There must be legends somewhere concerning this. Considering yahweh did have a consort as is mentioned then what happened? Was there a falling out and if so over what? These are just some of the answers I'm looking for.
