"Many thanks, fair maids, for your kind words and welcomes. And if the truth be told, I am hungry." I admitted and offered up one of my best grins. "And for such a kind offer of a bite to eat, I'll start things off with a little rhyme..."
One, two
Ull's arrow flew;
Three, four,
Waken up Thor;
Five, six,
Loki at tricks;
Seven, eight,
Heimdall at the gate;
Nine, ten,
Odin again;
Eleven, twelve,
The Dwarfs delve;
Thirteen, fourteen,
Thrud's a-courting;
Fifteen, sixteen,
Groa's witching;
Seventeen, eighteen,
Ragnarok's waiting;
Nineteen, twenty,
Fenrir's empty!
((Adelhard's verse done in the style of Jim Johnson's Norsey Rhymes))
