"Jefferson Davis, you stop that this instant!" Kadira stomped her foot and glared.
A pair of bright green eyes glared back and their owner flicked her tail. The silver feline known as Jefferson Davis was most unrepentant. Silly human! Did this Kadira person not know all objects in the Hotel Cairo were there for Her Feline Majesty's personal amusement?
The cat was toying with the string on a parcel that had just arrived, and Kadira frowned. "How can I see who is it is addressed to with you lounging on the top of it! Honestly! Here...chase this..."
Kadira crumpled up a bit of paper and threw it across the lobby. Unable to resist, the silver Abby gave chase and left the Egyptian girl with a clear view of the label.
She called for one of the boys. "Please take this up to Mr. Lamont Cranston Chung's room."
