Welcome
The Flooding of the Black Sea
In 5600, the Mediterranean flooded into the Black Sea lake with so much force, it drove the many peoples around it far away. Some carried civilization to Sumeria and Egypt, others built the world's largest buildings along their path to modern-day Paris. Come face the starvation, theft and wars these people encountered.

I've got the odd bits of info floating around as well that I need to dig into. I'm thinking the best source is The Epic Of Gilgamesh...The origional story was oral, and I don't think the flavour of it's writing was ment to be a written art, but rather a document to preserve an oral story that wound up being corrupted over time by the additions of current events (to re-write parts that had perhaps lost relevance?)??

Or perhaps someone has slipped something into my coffee?
