Elementary might be ok, if the quote demonstrates some interesting aspect of German grammar or something.
As to Drachen, since it follows zu, it is in the dative case (as is dem). In the dative case, Drache adds an 'n', even in the singular. (It's a characteristic of the weak declension that German shares with Old English.)
Note that the same applies to Herr, so that the title of this post indicates that the contents are "to" you, as would be done in the salutation of a letter. :-)
Isn't German fun?!
